A Sudanese lady, who was spared the death sentence for converting from Islam to Christianity, reached at a Rome airport on Thursday morning, international media reported.


The 27-year-old Mariam Yahya Ibrahim who was previous banned from leaving Sudan, was disclosed on television leaving an Italian government plane at Rome’s Ciampino airport.


She was accompanying with her family and Italy’s vice minister for foreign affairs, Lapo Pistelli.
