Israel’s soldiers killed a Palestinian in the occupied West Bank on Monday during a attack on his house close to the city of Nablus, medical officials reported.
The 23-year-old Zakaria al-Aqra was required by Israel and was shot dead, local witnesses told to reporters. Six other people were reportedly injured during the attack and part of Aqra’s house was demolished by military’s bulldozer.
An Israeli army spokeswoman said she was alert of troop activity in the area but provided no more details. Aqra is the third Palestinian to be killed in Israeli-Palestinian conflicts in the West Bank in four days.
