At least eleven people, including eight kindergarten children, lost their lives after a minivan fell into a pond in central China’s Hunan Province on Thursday.


The accident happened in a mountainous village close to Changsha, the capital of Hunan Province, as the bus carried the children home from their kindergarten in the city of Xiangtan. Among the dead are eight children, two teachers, and the driver.


The bus was going back the children home from school Thursday in a mountainous village close to the capital city of Hunan province when it fell into a pond, the Xinhua News Agency said.
