The English former football player David Beckham, who will receive the Legend Award at the first ever Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Sports Awards.


The ‘Kingsman: The Secret Service’ actor will be honored for his talent and sportsmanship, international news reports.


Before that 39-year-old David, who was presently had received Ambassador of United for Wildlife by Prince William, now will receive the award for being a role model to young kids both on and off the field.


The network explained in a statement, “He exemplifies the qualities every kid aspires to achieve and his name is the first that comes to mind when we think of his sport.


Pharrell Williams, Florida Georgia Line, Marshawn Lynch, Kevin Durant, Will Arnett, Megan Fox and some other athletes and celebrities are anticipated to join Beckham at the opening award show.
